Influencer – How to use your volunteers full potential

Worlunteers - Volunteers Worldwide

The competition on Social Media

Getting attention is a competitive subject. There are a lot of opportunities on Social Media but it is also well known that it is a time consuming and heavy workload to reach your audience. Despite there are several options from SEO over TikTok and Instagram Reels to Facebook posts or tweets. Each requires a certain content that represents the values of your organization. Large corporations operate Social Media departments with tenth of employees spending their time to optimize the public perception of the company.

Visibility is crucial for NGO/NPO

For NGOs and NPOs it is a bit more complicated. Many of them are not profit oriented and latently underfunded. Large Social Media departments are rarely available such that they need to find different ways to spread their cause. For a NPO/NGO it is vital to be publicly visible. They are limited in traditional business operations and rely on donations that guarantee independence from third party influence.

Your volunteers are your best influencers

Here comes worlunteers.org into play. We are a social media agency that spreads the cause of your volunteers. We setup a donation form for each them to collect money for their workload. Meanwhile we spread the values of your organization by spreading your volunteers. Your volunteers turn into Social Media Influencer through their individual supporters base. Helena – A Volunteer for Worlunteers

This is Helena. A volunteer for Worlunteers. Helena had been volunteer in Serbia, more precisely in Subotica. She has finished her volunteering already and serves us now as a placeholder to provide you some insight into volunteering work. Many thanks, dear Helena.

This post is to be understood as an example for videos and content that can be used for a worlunteering application. It basically contains the work done, the organization worked for, the work place and duration.

The videos do not need to be highly professional. They need to be authentic to reach your personal target group. A Worlunteer has to hand in monthly updates on the progress made in the project served. Your donation form does not last longer than one month. We update your donation form with new video content handed in. Keep that in mind.

Foreword of the chairman of Worlunteers e.V.

Welcome to worlunteers.org – Foreword of the chairman

My name is Kay Schroeder and I am the founder and chairman of Worlunteers e.V. a Vienna based NGO and operator of the Crypto Economy Fundraising Portal. A game changer in financial solutions and a completely new way of societal thinking. (for Google SEO reasons: foreword of the chairman – ignore that)

Worlunteers came up to my mind when I worked as a Human Rights Instructor for Amnesty International. During that time I experienced that volunteers are often marginalized groups, mainly women and minorities. Therefore I decided to improve the undervalued work of volunteering and thus the situation of the volunteers themselves.

It came up to my mind that money is always an issue. It is an issue for the organizations and for the volunteers despite they are expected to work for free. The usual way of raising funds occurred me like begging. Not valuing work and effort at all. So I decided that this attitude has to change. But I realized that people are not that much interested in donating. That lead me to the obvious conclusion that they want to be rewarded for their investment. Consequently I set up worlunteers.org as a financial portal.

Social Capital and soca.market

Hence I started to comprehend donors as investors who are not just generous but also expect a return on investment. The cryptocurrency evolution offered a proper solution to solve the ROI problem. So I created the Social Capital Token on the Ethereum blockchain to pay it out to each investor. Since it does not have any value itself I needed to setup a market place. This market place is called soca.market and offers art work in exchange for Social Capital. A new economy was born. The Crypto Economy Fundraising.

Today Worlunteers e.V. operates social media channels on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram and many more. We visit volunteers, shoot videos, create profiles, take care of investors and acquire investments. We run the Crypto Token “Social Capital”, promote art & culture, search for new artists for the soca.market art portal and spread the idea of volunteering worldwide. We are an unsalaried project that is open to everyone. Free but not for nothing.
